Delays and cancellations of theatre slots are about to be drastically reduced due to a newly designed bracelet from BRENMOOR.
The concept for the wristband came from an NHS theatre worker who saw first-hand how money was being lost through delays and cancellations because a patient had eaten or drunk when they should have been fasting in the hours before a procedure. The solution is a wristband which is worn by the patient as both a fasting reminder to the patient and also to members of staff that come into contact with the patient in the hours before the procedure.
