HYGIENA INTERNATIONAL, a supplier of rapid hygiene testing systems, has recently completed the Showcase Hospital Evaluation Programme involving its SystemSURE Plus ATP product.
This equipment was recently shortlisted for an award from Building Better Healthcare 2010, as well as gaining the Rapid Review Panel (RRP) Level 1 category in the same year. It also features in the Government funded technology project (Fighting Infection through Detection) to develop new tests for MRSA and ESBL. Previously, in 2009 the product was voted Best Infection Control Innovation, as well as being a finalist in the Business Excellence Awards (innovation) in 2008. A US-based quality and safety laboratory has also highly rated the system in a recently published report which compared all the commercially available ATP systems.
