Help for IBD sufferers

CROHN’S AND COLITIS UK aims to improve life for people affected by inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) through support, information, funding research and campaigning for better health services. Currently it has 31,000 members and 70 Groups.

It invests over £350,000 a year in research into both medical, and living with IBD. It supports people in the UK with IBD, whether or not they are members, via helplines, website, publications and local groups. Personal grants and guidance on disability benefits are also available. Crohn’s and Colitis UK has established patient panels at some hospitals to facilitate patient involvement in improving services.
