MARSHALL PRODUCTS’ range of Visionary LED laryngoscopes provides numerous benefits. The LED light source provides a focussed, clear and white light which is brighter than standard bulb or fibre optic products.
The LED is also a cool light which eliminates any risk of heat damage. The single use laryngoscope can also withstand repeated checking, which may be required for a laryngoscope which sits on a resuscitation trolley for some time without needing to be used. The Marshall Visionary LED range can be distinguished by the white plastic hubs on the blades and white plastic on the handles. A full range of mac and miller blades are available as well as the new Marshall LED levering mac blade. Single use and reusable handles are available which are compatible with the LED blades. However, the Visionary LED blade is also compatible with existing Marshall bulb Visionary handles, which are distinguished by the blue plastic ring on the handle – so no additional investment in handles is required to allow transfer to the new LED system.
