Irrigation fluid warming system

ARIZANT UK will exhibit its full range of clinical temperature management products at AfPP 2008 including the Bair Hugger forced-air warming system, the Bair Paws patient adjustable warming system and the Ranger blood/fluid warming system – including the new Ranger irrigation fluid warming system.

The Ranger irrigation system offers the high-volume delivery of warmed fluids required by demanding urology, gynecology or orthopedic procedures. The system warms fluid as it is delivered to the patient through the use of highly responsive heating plates and a unique irrigation fluid warming disposable set.

This SmartHeat technology eliminates potentially dangerous hot spots and overheating of fluids by monitoring the temperature four times every second and automatically adjusting when required to maintain a consistent 41°C set point.

Arizant representatives will also be available to discuss the recently published NICE Inadvertent Perioperative Hypothermia guidelines and demonstrate why forced-air warming is specified as the recommended method for hypothermia prevention.
