OSPREY DEEP CLEAN will be showing its Provap fully integrated dry steam vapour decontamination system together with special tools developed in co-operation with the healthcare industry.
Provap has been subject to a series of exhaustive trials, held over a period of 12 months in conjunction with the UCLH Environmental Research Unit in London, and also at TNO in Holland.
The results have been validated by microbiological measures and laboratory analysis, establishing that rapid and total decontamination of all test surfaces was achieved.
Air sampling taken during the trials confirmed that the Provap healthcare decontamination procedure and tooling did not create a risk of dispersion or aerosolisation of deadly micro-organisms.
Steam decontamination using Provap may therefore be achieved consistently and effectively throughout hospitals, in effect, elevating an everyday cleaning routine into a thoroughly validated decontamination procedure.
