Innovations launched at MEDICA 2022

PROACT Medical – a UK-based company specialising in the manufacture and supply of patient monitoring, diagnostic and airway medical products – will be joining the ABHI UK Pavilion at MEDICA 2022 (14-17 November 2022) to launch its innovative new range of gas sampling lines along with their new line of single-use laryngoscopes designed to improve patient care.

The company will be using the platform to launch its new PRO-Breathe MS MicroStream Compatible and Luer Lock Compatible Range of Gas/EtCO2 sampling lines to the European market. The new gas lines allow sampling of expired gas for carbon dioxide (CO2) monitoring when connected to a side-stream EtCO2 measuring instrument. The PRO-Breathe gas lines also offer optional delivery of supplemental oxygen whilst monitoring the patient’s EtCO2 plus some unique new patented designs and formats to make clinicians’ lives easier.

After a successful launch in the UK, PROACT Medical will also be joining the ABHI to launch its new MetalMax+ Combi 50 Single Patient Use range of all-in-one laryngoscopes to the EU market. The battery pre-fitted, permanently attached blade and handle laryngoscopes are used to illuminate the oropharynx and trachea to assist with endotracheal intubation or allow examination of the oral cavity. The New Combi 50 features a soft grip handle, stainless steel blade, LED illumination, built-in alkaline battery which offers no touch three second removal and can be fully tested many times in its packaging prior to use.  For clinicians, the device offers strong clinical function, ease of use and economy, whilst also eliminating the risk of cross-infection.

PROACT supplies worldwide with a sister company – PROACT Medical SAS – with Warehousing and Support Office in France, to supply the EU Market. All PROACT products are CE marked and the company operates a Quality Management System certified to meet the criteria of the latest ISO 13485:2016. MEDICA is taking place from 14-17 November 2022 and throughout the show, Proact Medical will be located on the ABHI UK Pavilion - Hall 16 Stand H48.
