Granton, producer of a wide range of products for medical, dental and other healthcare markets, has recently invested heavily in a new state-of-the-art medical packaging plant.
Investment strengthens range
Following relocation to large, modern premises in 2002, the company has engaged in an expansion programme that has seen it develop a 5,000 ft2, Class 10,000 Clean Room, which allows the company to offer a sub-contract packing service, as well as finished products such as the Self Seal Sterilisation Pouches – for which it currently produces 30 million a year.
The company’s flexible manufacturing facilities enables it to offer custom sized pouches, with or without self-seal tape, from a variety of different materials to fulfil the needs of most healthcare disciplines.
Granton’s latest product is the Saf-T-Scalpel – a unique retractable safety scalpel that is designed to minimise the risk of sharp blade injuries and subsequent infections to healthcare professionals with its spring loaded automatic retraction.
