Between 8 – 11 August 2019, The Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP) held its annual conference and exhibition at the University of York Campus. Delegates were treated to an astonishing array of talks that highlighted health and wellbeing across UK Trusts
The AfPP Residential Conference provided visitors with a programme crammed with educational sessions, networking opportunities and social events. Between sessions, delegates were also provided with an expansive exhibition, displaying the latest medical innovations and products.
As well as the lectures and exhibition, a number of social entertainment events were provided – including a hypnotist, a circus and a gala dinner.
A number of presentations resulted in standing ovations from conference attendees, with many of the talks touching on emotive and personal experiences.
