A team from Cantel UK took part in a fundraising event for MacMillan Cancer Support - the company’s chosen charity of the year - and raised a total of £2135.
Many of the company’s employees have had personal experiences with the charity, which was chosen via a companywide vote. The team took part in “The Tough Mudder Classic” event in Henley on Thames on Saturday 4 May. Seven employees (Tom Brownlow, Ben Carter, Kaye Wallace, Adam Overton, Lee Underhill, Harj Uppal and Dave Blackhurst) started a training plan three months before the event, which included eight mile runs, circuit training and HIIT training.
On the day, the team tackled a 10 mile course with 25 obstacles including the spread eagle, black widow, arctic enema and leap of faith.
