With its quick disinfection cycle time, RapidAER is said to be an extremely productive pass-through reprocessor.
With a footprint less than 0.5m2 to accommodate small room size, RapidAER can run three cycles per hour (three lumen scopes/12 non-lumen scopes). Scopes are loaded outside the chamber for increased productivity and reduced operator strain. RFID technology is also incorporated to provide comprehensive data storage, analysis and recording function for each cycle.
The design allows the operator to load and unload scopes from the machine using hands free technology and includes a foot pedal cycle operation to start the machine which reduces contamination risk.
