Extended manufacturing facility opened

David Cameron MP (left) recently opened an extended manufacturing facility in Chipping Norton for medical device company Owen Mumford.

Also pictured are Adam Mumford, managing director of the company (right), and Martyn Young, general manager. Forty million drug delivery devices will eventually be produced at the new facility and over 100 new jobs will be created. A growth in the number of medical conditions which are self managed by the patient, by self-injecting medication using bespoke autoinjector and pen technology, has led to an increased demand for the type of medical devices produced by Owen Mumford.
