HALYARD has developed a new sterilisation wrap.
The Halyard quick check interleaved wrap consists of sequential sheets of sterilisation wrap alternating between blue and white.
The contrast in colour clearly shows cuts, tears and holes and allows end-users to identify breaches in sterility immediately. The wrap can be used with either colour on the outside so that customers can identify and colour code surgical instrument trays. As problems occurring in a single colour wrap might be hard to spot, this new feature saves valuable time in identifying possible sterility breaches in the operating room.
The sterilisation wrap is available in four grades to cover a wide range and type of surgical instrument trays.
