VERNACARE will showcase its latest products for hygienic patient washing and toileting at Infection Prevention 2015. Vernacare has developed its most advanced disposal unit to date, which will be officially launched at the Liverpool event.
The new Vortex+ is opened and closed via a foot sensor – using ‘touch-less’ technology to eliminate the risk of crossinfection via hand contact when disposing of human waste.
Vernacare will also showcase its recently launched commode chair that is cleaner by design. It was developed in collaboration with healthcare clinicians and has been adopted by many hospitals across the UK. Vernacare also manufactures a complete single-use human waste disposal system. The ‘Vernacare System’ is manufactured to stringent quality assurance standards in the UK. By providing a clean new product every time, the Vernacare System helps to reduce infection risk from Clostridium difficile (C. diff), MRSA, E. coli and Norovirus, as well as other highly infectious diseases.
