In the 23 years that Bristol-based LIMBS & THINGS has been designing and manufacturing medical training models and simulators, the company has always strived to offer innovative products to improve the confidence and skill level of healthcare trainees and professionals, in order to ensure better patient care.
This year, the company’s efforts have been recognised in the form of a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation. Medica will be an opportunity to see the latest addition to the company’s portfolio – a breast examination trainer for self examination and clinical assessment. Also on show are the recently released chest drain and needle decompression model, SutureTutorPlus – a popular online package complemented by a Hands-on Kit to facilitate best practice – and the Standard Venepuncture Arm.
