KARL STORZ, a manufacturer of endoscopy equipment, will be using the event to introduce a new range of flexible video endoscopes.
Using the image quality processing of the Karl Storz HD Image 1 GI Hub, with the new SPIES (STORZ Professional Image Enhancement System) offering – which provides three different defined spectral ranges – the Silver Scope range unifies the technology, ergonomics and durability of the offerings and, according to the company, opens up new possibilities in diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopy. The range features new insertion tube characteristics and a wide field of view. The design of the lightweight control body, equipped with a new silk-like surface, is said to allow precise guiding of the endoscope during routine and more complex procedures. The company will also be exhibiting a range of GI endoscopes and innovations in duodenoscopes.
