Operating table width extenders, for example, are used to enable improved and stable positioning of the patient on the operating table. They are available in two variants – long (300 mm) and short (200 mm). The extenders can be flexibly attached to the side rail. The SFC pad ensures optimal pressure relief, which is important for obese patients. The shape and SFC padding of the leg holders are said to make them suitable for the secure and stable positioning of obese patients. Leg holders with singlehanded operation are available, helping the surgical team to realise exact, stable, and safe positioning.
