NHS SUPPLY CHAIN has announced the introduction of two new innovative gloves: The Ansell Gammex powder-free surgical gloves with AMT antimicrobial technology are now available on NHS Supply Chain’s sterile surgical gloves framework agreement.
Through virus and bacteriakilling technology, the gloves provide protection against some of the most common pathogens and drug-resistant bacteria in the event of a glove breach. The SafeDon Micron Examination Gloves are also now available on NHS Supply Chain’s examination gloves framework agreement. These gloves help to reduce the risk of hospital acquired infections with their dispensing mechanism. SafeDon Micron Gloves are dispensed individually from the box, cuff first, which ensures that the user does not touch the gloves within the box or the box itself while removing gloves for use.
