INTERSURGICAL aims to reduce the environmental impact of its products and processes. This has resulted in a search for alternative materials to PVC. The Adult Eco Tracheostomy mask is the latest addition to its range of low environmental impact products.
Being PVC free means that the product is also phthalate free. The new mask has 82% less impact on the environment, compared to its PVC equivalent. A quick-release elastic system ensures that it can be removed and refitted easily, simplifying hygiene procedures. A soft seal offers good levels of comfort while a fully rotational 22 mm connector ensures optimum orientation for the attachment of humidifier tubing, venturi valves and nebulisers.
