MEDLINE INDUSTRIES has had an exciting year, with the acquisition of CareFusion International Surgical Products (ISP).
The core product range available from the company consists of custom packs, drapes and gowns, fluid management systems, and surgical and exam gloves. These categories contain innovations such as Eco-Drape, Quicksuite, and PerfecTemp. Medline will be showing new products such as Hemolex, absorbable surgical haemostats for control of bleeding and DASH, an absorbent surgical retractor which improves line of sight and lowers risk of trauma. Breast Cancer Awareness is a global campaign. Medline’s Pink Glove Dance phenomenon has inspired clinical staff around the world and supports research with £1 for every case sold. The Medline sponsored AfPP workshop will feature a breast cancer speaker and illustrate the challenges and life-changing effects of this disease.
