The Laryngeal Mask Airway is now a preferred method of airway management in many surgical procedures. An integrated drain tube which provides a conduit for venting the gastrointestinal gases and liquids and may be used for the passage of a gastric tube to the stomach. The Intubating LMAairway (ILMA) is designed to facilitate tracheal intubation with an endotracheal tube.
