Hand hygiene is still the single most important measure to prevent healthcare associated infections. In recognition of the hand hygiene initiatives being undertaken by healthcare professionals, SCHULKE has just launched the Hand Hygiene Champion of 2011 award.
Julie Storr, the Vice President of the Infection Prevention Society (IPS) will be one of the judges of this important award. Julie is the former Project Director of the NPSA’s highly successful cleanyourhands campaign.
It couldn’t be simpler to enter, just nominate your Champion and tell us in no more than 250 words why that person deserves to win. It doesn’t matter how simple the initiative is, if it’s helped to improve hand hygiene, we want to hear from you.
There will be one overall winner and two runners up, plus recognition for whoever nominates the winners.
