MedICUs Tissue Viability is a PC-based data collection system for tissue viability teams that allows users to analyse the effectiveness of care and patient outcomes.
The program is said to be highly user-customisable and complies with established standards such as the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-10). Other features include a word processing module to produce and store letters; a digital image archive; a body diagram to highlight affected areas; the option to record details about advice only patients; a module for recording details of education, training and other activities; a selection of pre-prepared reports; and handheld data collection.
