Turning a wound valve permanently deflates a cell for targeted and sustained elimination of pressure from wound sites and sensitive areas around the body including grafts, burns, heels and ischaemic legs. To further enhance positive outcomes a dedicated zone in the five leg and heel cells uses power down heel straps for faster pressure relief, offloading pressure at the heel for longer. To help manage risk and ensure the mattress is correctly set, cell pressures are automatically adjusted to optimal levels, regardless of patient position, weight and size.
