Free symposium explores ways to fight HCAIs

As high rates of healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs) continue to challenge hospitals and pose risks to patient safety, new approaches are needed to get HCAIs under control.

This will be the subject under discussion at the ASP National HCAI Symposium which takes place on 11 May at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham. The symposium will feature presentations by infection prevention experts – many from leading UK hospitals – about current realities, limitations and preventative solutions for fighting dangerous pathogens like MRSA and C. difficile.
