For over 30 years RUHOF has been dedicated to researching, developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art products to ensure the complete decontamination of endoscopes and surgical instruments. Ruhof prides itself on listening to its customers’ needs and developing innovative products that meet their requirements.
With this in mind Ruhof launched a new product in 2009 – the Endozime SLR Phase One Endoscopy Bedside Kit. The kit is designed for convenient bedside use to remove all contaminants from the outside sheath and inside channel of scopes. The kit contains a sponge to remove soil from the insertion tube and 250 mL or 500 mL of Endozime SLR enzymatic solution for suctioning through the channels. Endozime SLR is claimed to be the only enzymatic detergent designed to molecularly displace synthetic lipids, allowing them to be rinsed off while dissolving blood, fat, carbohydrates, starches and protein. The sponge is custom-made to contour the outside sheath of a scope. The new 500 mL kit launched this year is compatible with Olympus flexible scope reprocessing instructions.
