Healthcare equipment specialist SIDHIL has announced the launch of the Inspiration Junior bed, believed to be the UK’s first electrically operated profiling bed designed and developed specifically for paediatric use, incorporating a built-in extension that expands the bed to full adult length to grow with the patient.
The bed incorporates functional design principles of strength, stability and versatility, combined with a modern “fun” appearance making it particularly suitable for the paediatric acute environment. The development process also recognised and responded to an identified need for this product in the community sector, and the bed is already proving a popular choice outside the acute market.
