Regional meetings promote monitoring technology

Patient monitoring and diagnostic equipment manufacturer, Welch Allyn is holding a series of six regional meetings across the UK in February for clinical and biomedical engineer managers to celebrate the launch of two new monitoring products.

The events are free to attend and will take place in the afternoon, with the exception of the 10 February meeting, which will be in the morning, as follows:
  • 2 February, Daresbury Park Hotel, Warrington.
  • 6 February, The Royal Society of Medicine, London.
  • 7 February, The Aztec Hotel, Bristol.
  • 8 February, De Vere Belfry Hotel, Sutton Coldfield.
  • 9 February, Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld, Scotland.
  • 10 February, Fisherman's Lodge, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
The events will commence with a presentation from a top motivational speaker, about the importance of team building and the management of change, which aims to assist managers of key hospital departments to create a motivated team and working environment in their day-to-day working life.

Welch Allyn will then be introducing the innovative Propaq LT monitor which enables healthcare professionals to continually monitor their patients in areas of the hospital where technical complexity or cost have made it impossible in the past, and the Spot Vital Signs LXi device which provides an accurate blood pressure measurement in approximately 15 seconds. The meetings will end with champagne and canapés to celebrate the company’s new arrivals.
