Visitors to AfPP will be able to see and feel the new Guardian range of singleuse drapes and gowns from SUNLIGHT CLINICAL SOLUTIONS. High-tech synthetic materials enable gowns to provide high levels of protection without the need for excessive thickness and uncomfortable heat retention.
Drapes have a softer feel and provide improved absorbency and liquid control. A comfort layer is incorporated into drapes that are likely to be used in procedures of a longer duration. The entire range is latex free. Designed for smooth and efficient surgery, the drapes include features such as fluid pouches manufactured as an integral part of the drape, and drainage ports designed to minimise the risk of blocking. Resealable line holders securely hold diathermy lines and suction tubing but allow flexibility – lines can be released, repositioned and held again.
