UNIPLEX UK is a Sheffield based surgical instrument maker manufacturing standard and bespoke instrumentation from traditional materials – including brass and stainless steel.
The company has also been involved in making single-use devices from autoclavable nylons. Items are available such as Beepo Disposable Diathermy Quivers (available in standard and laparoscopic variants) and the Beepo Versablok mouth guard for use in endoscopic procedures. In addition, Uniplex supplies LTA cleaning brushes to sterile services and endoscopy suites, as well as operating a comprehensive surgical instrument repair facility on both a 48-hour and five working day return basis. Other highlights on the company’s stand, at AfPP, will include a low-cost gelatine sponge, called Cutanplast.
