STARKSTROM has announced a new addition to its product range for 2010, the Scandia Operating Table, a premium specification operating table suitable for a wide range of surgery – including bariatric (350 Kg weight capacity), lithotomy and elective orthopaedics.
The Scandia will be exhibited for the first time in the UK at this year’s AfPP. Starkstrom will also be exhibiting its innovative, second generation LED, marLED operating light with in-light camera. The marLED offers a range of colour temperature options and a field shape setting. Both products form part of Starkstrom’s co-ordinated equipment supply solution, providing a single point of contact for its package of theatre equipment – including the Remos remote monitoring system for total peace of mind. Remos facilitates the remote monitoring of a wide range of equipment within the operating theatre including fixed (e.g. operating lights) and mobile equipment (e.g. operating tables).
