Flexislide, from MEDICAL INNOVATIONS, is a single patient-use lateral transfer sheet which is ideal for many departments across the hospital.
Although primarily designed for use in procedural environments, such as theatres, it is now widely used by departments with a similar requirement for lateral patient transfer – such as endoscopy, A&E, radiology and delivery suites. The single-use Flexislide has been designed as an aid to manual handling, making patient transfer both easy and safe, and helping prevent back injuries among staff. It is extremely strong and has been independently tested to laterally transfer 424 kg when dry and 415 kg when wet.
