Donation assists surgeon training

Healthcare company, B.Braun Medical, has made a substantial donation of surgical instruments to the Royal College of Surgeons (RCOS).

The equipment will be used by the College to help train current and future surgeons and forms part of the Sheffield-based company’s biggest ever sponsorship package. The instruments will be used in the College’s state-of-the-art Surgical Skills Centre which was opened earlier this year by the Princess Royal and will transform the RCOS’s education facilities into a national centre of excellence for surgical education, training and assessment.
