The progressive flexibility of ClearVu maintains continuous irrigation for maximum visibility. Using a ClearVu cannula can effectively cut operating time by eliminating the persistent procedure interruptions that are often caused by repositioning a metal cannula to re-establish visualisation. In addition, the non-conductive polymer construction of the cannula protects soft tissue and articular surfaces from potential damage while insulating RF devices from “short out” even on direct contact. The patented FlexFlow design of ClearVu ensures higher flow rates (1.0 L/min using gravity) in a smaller diameter, reducing the need for a larger cannula and, therefore, a larger incision site to achieve efficient fluid flow.
