The TotalCare Bariatric Plus combines the features and clinical benefits of the TotalCare family and has been designed for use with bariatric patients.
A range of features including patient weighing scales, integrated pressure redistributing air surface and retractable foot mechanism all ensure this latest product takes bariatric care to another level. Safer and easier patient repositioning is provided by the “Turn Assist” while the “FullChair” position enables one caregiver to place the patient into a seating position, thereby achieving early patient mobilisation. In addition, Hill-Rom will also demonstrate the ClinActiv + MCM therapy surface which offers I-mmersionTherapy by providing maximum support area at all times. The system also offers the next generation of low air loss. Using airflow technology, the advanced microclimate technology keeps the patient’s skin dry and cool while on the optimal therapeutic surface. The ClinActivTM + MCMTM therapy surface focuses the air flow to the critical areas of heat build-up. Excess heat and moisture vapor passes from the patient through the hi-tech spacer material in the cover and is drawn into the airflow below before exiting into the atmosphere.
