The lateral “Tilt or Turn” equipment from GENIECARE presents a new approach to two-hourly or night time turning. “ToTo” is placed under the existing mattress and will gently move patients from side to side at regular intervals (without the intervention of nurses or caring staff).
ToTo can be used underneath an alternating mattresses and has been successfully used for patients with moderate to severe pressure sores. The frequency of turning can be determined simply by adjusting the control knobs, giving movement schedules of anything from 30 mins to 4.5 hours. ToTo is gentle and quiet in operation, working without disturbing the sleep of most patients.
