Negative pressure wound therapy

Venturi NPWT systems, from TALLEY, utilise controlled negative pressure to assist and accelerate wound healing and are a clinically proven, cost effective option for the treatment of many wounds – including pressure ulcers, dehisced surgical wounds and diabetic/neuropathic ulcers.

The Venturi Avanti and Venturi Compact versatile vacuum power units benefit from dual-power technology, offering a seamless choice of mains or battery operation. The integral battery is charge-optimised, and provides long-lasting power back-up when needed, in addition to allowing the systems to function away from a mains power supply – giving the patient full mobility during therapy. Both Venturi systems are supplied with flush-fitting drainage canisters which incorporate exudate-solidifying granules, and feature hydrophobic and carbon bacterial filters to prevent leakage and odour. Their one-piece design and internal construction further ensures secure containment of exudate.
