Alliance Medical has announced the refurbishment and upgrading of the cross-sectional imaging unit at Ramsay Healthcare’s Yorkshire Clinic in Bingley, West Yorkshire.
Alliance Medical has worked closely with the Clinic since 1994, and this work marks the beginning of a new contract providing MRI and CT services. As part of the contract, Alliance Medical has installed new cutting-edge scanning machines, including a GE Healthcare 64 slice CT scanner and Siemens 1.5T cardiac-optimised MRI machine, providing imaging capabilities for a range of conditions, such as cancer and heart disease. The new centre is expected to see 4,000 patients a year.
