Patient Safety First – a voluntary campaign aimed at changing practice and culture – has created a “How to” guide for reducing harm from falls.
Aimed at managers and teams involved in leading and implementing changes to reduce harm from falls, this guide includes case studies, how to get started, and actions that leaders and frontline staff can take. Across England and Wales, approximately 152,000 falls are reported in acute hospitals every year.
