The latest technology for the tracking of surgical instruments, medical devices and endoscopes will be demonstrated at this year’s IDSc conference by MEDITRAX – a leading provider of traceability solutions for healthcare.
Visitors attending the Meditrax stand can discuss with the Meditrax InstruMark specialists, various options for the provision of Unique Identification of Instruments and try their hand at laser marking their own personalised show souvenir via the InstruMark Compact Fibre Laser (CFL). The company says that this is the only technology specifically designed for the marking of GS1 format Data Matrix 2D barcodes onto surgical instruments. Meditrax is able to demonstrate an operational “enterprise networked solution” for single hospitals or large Trusts, which encompasses all decontamination of instruments, medical devices and endoscopes; with unique identification of surgical instruments, complete with interfaces to decontamination equipment and patient management software.
