SMART SOLUTIONS FOR HCAI is an exciting project which is being run by TrusTECH, the North West of England NHS Innovation Hub and supported by the NHS Innovation Centre.
The Smart Solutions programme aims to find new ways to help combat healthcare-associated infections by identifying innovative technologies from across different industry sectors. A number of products, which will be on display at Infection 2009, have been selected to undergo hospital evaluations. These include air disinfection units, UV light inspection lamps, a two-layer sterile procedure mat, innovative cleaning products and a unique rapid MRSA testing device.
