ISENTIO specialises in 16S direct sequencing identification from mixed clinical samples. RipSeq is an online application enabling direct sequencing from poly-microbial samples, as well as simultaneous dual loci sequencing.
It can reduce identification time by 50% to 90%, as well as enable users to identify bacteria not possible to identify using phenotypical methods. It is useful for anaerobic infections, samples affected by antibiotics and for correct Mycobacterium species identification.
