Two of the winners of the NHS programme Smart Solutions for Healthcareassociated Infections are among the SUNLIGHT CLINICAL SOLUTIONS products to be exhibited at the event.
The Sunlight Air Disinfection Unit protects patients and healthcare professionals from airborne infection by reducing the bio burden in the atmosphere in the same way that the natural outdoor environment cleanses the air. MedMat is the dual layer sterile field designed to reduce the risk of infection by encouraging standardisation and the use of best practice aseptic techniques. MedMat followed up the Smart Solutions success by being named a winner at the International HCAI Technology Innovation Summit. Both of these new products are now being used to great effect within the NHS. Other products within Sunlight’s range of products for infection prevention include both single-use and reusable drapes and gowns, and high quality single-use instruments.
