BIOQUELL is an expert in the provision of Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour (HPV) biodecontamination solutions for healthcare environments.
The patented technology has been extensively tested and is scientifically proven to be highly effective in the removal of problematic microorganisms such as C. difficile, MRSA, VRE, norovirus and Acinetobacter. The technology has been awarded by the Department of Health Rapid Review Panel Level 1 recommendation which means it: “should be available to NHS bodies to include as appropriate in their cleaning, hygiene or infection control protocols.” Bioquell is the only decontamination technology awarded RRP1. Due to this, the company’s service was deployed as part of the DH HCAI Technology Innovation Programme which took place in seven NHS hospitals. Its success was recognised by the DH and NHS PASA through the HCAI Technology Innovation award, for providing the: “greatest contribution in controlling Clostridium difficile”.
