Its thermostatic technology is used to accurately mix very hot (required to kill Legionella and other waterborne bacteria) and cold water to provide safe and comfortable warm water for hand washing, bathing and showering. Its most recent development (awarded “Best Interiors Product” at the 2008 Building Better Healthcare Awards) is a thermostatic tap named the Optitherm. The Optitherm is a combined unit comprising a hot tap, a dedicated cold tap and thermostatic mixing valve.
