PPE packs ensure faster response to outbreaks

GREEN VALET Infection Control PPE packs offer faster response times during infection emergencies by widening availability of infection control PPE. For staff required to work in close proximity to infections, for example during the recent Swine Flu outbreak, it is top priority to have access to high quality PPE.

Recent research has shown that the main factors contributing to slow response were equipment incompatibility, centralised storage and missing key items. Green Valet’s PPE Pandemic Infection packs and kits change the approach from a top down, centralised provision of PPE and instead place responsibility on individual front line staff. Front line responders are provided with pre-packaged packs or kits tailored to meet their specific needs. These include complete sets of single use PPE along with infection control agents and disposal bags as well as detailed user instructions. They can be customised to meet the needs of individuals, small groups of staff in a department, or much larger groups. They are intended to be kept as close as possible to end users rather than stored remotely and are available through NHS Supply Chain.
