Medical isolation transformers ensure safety and reliability

REO UK will be exhibiting on Stand C17 at EBME Expo 2026, showcasing specialist power-quality, isolation and medical transformer solutions designed to support the safe and reliable operation of medical electrical equipment.

A key focus will be the established REOMED range of medical isolation transformers. Designed specifically for healthcare applications, REOMED transformers combine galvanic isolation, low leakage current and robust construction to support compliance with IEC/EN 60601-1 requirements.

Visitors will also be able to explore solutions that improve power quality and electrical network stability as hospitals continue to integrate increasing numbers of electronic devices, switch-mode power supplies and connected systems.

In addition, the REO team will be discussing the growing importance of electrical isolation within Ethernet and communications networks. REOMED ISONET technology provides additional isolation within Ethernet-based medical networks, helping to support patient safety, equipment protection and system integrity.

Throughout the exhibition, REO's engineers will be available to discuss application-specific challenges including electrical isolation, harmonic mitigation, EMC filtering and custom transformer solutions for medical and laboratory equipment.

Visit Stand C17 to discover how REO UK can support the safe, reliable and long-term operation of medical electrical systems.
