In April 2026, Medline EMEA will proudly mark its 15-year anniversary. Since entering the EMEA market, Medline has grown into a trusted partner for healthcare providers, delivering essential medical supplies and practical solutions that support everyday clinical care.
Over the past 15 years, the company has supplied nearly 28 billion product units to hospitals and healthcare organisations throughout the region. What began as a growing presence has evolved into a strong regional network that today includes 19 offices across EMEA and more than 2,100 employees representing over 75 nationalities. Together, this diverse and highly experienced workforce supports nearly 4,900 healthcare organisations, helping clinicians focus on what matters most: patient care.
A key strength behind Medline’s growth is its people. More than 300 employees have been part of Medline Europe for over a decade, bringing deep expertise and long-standing relationships with healthcare providers. This continuity has played an important role in building trusted partnerships across the region. Over the years, the company has also expanded its capabilities through eight strategic acquisitions, strengthening its ability to support healthcare systems with reliable products and solutions.
Innovation and efficiency have remained central to Medline’s approach. One example is the company’s Sterile and Minor Procedure Trays (SPT/MPT), designed to standardise clinical procedures and simplify preparation in operating theatres. Since 2011, more than 120 million trays have been delivered to healthcare facilities across EMEA, helping clinical teams save valuable time and improve workflow efficiency.
At the same time, Medline continues to integrate sustainability into its operations. Across its European facilities, the company has installed over 8,000 solar panels and launched its first electric truck fleet in France in 2025, reducing emissions while maintaining efficient delivery to healthcare providers.
