Randox Laboratories expands operations in US to advance global diagnostics manufacturing

Randox Laboratories, a global leader in diagnostic technologies, has announced plans to expand its Jefferson County facility, in the US, from a 48-person sales and distribution operation into a full-scale production laboratory, further increasing the company’s 4.1 billion annually manufactured tests.

Randox is an international healthcare company headquartered in the UK, specialising in diagnostic solutions for clinical, molecular, toxicology, food safety, point of care, and veterinary applications, including analysers, reagents quality control materials, and software. With a presence in over 145 countries, Randox is committed to improving health worldwide through innovation, automation, and manufacturing excellence.

As the 2nd largest manufacturer globally of laboratory quality controls, with a supply to over 100,000 laboratories, diagnosing more than 370 million patients annually, the expansion will significantly enhance Randox’s capacity to serve customers across the globe. Once complete, the upgraded facility will produce next-generation diagnostic products and equipment, further solidifying Randox’s role as an innovation leader in the life sciences sector.

The company expects to begin hiring for new roles in 2026, ranging from skilled production and laboratory positions to research scientists and logistics specialists. A follow-up announcement will be made later this year with more details on recruitment.
