These pads, now branded Aderma, are used to redistribute pressure and help stop skin breakdown. Within the range there are six products, ranging from products designed to help stop the skin breaking down on the heel and sacrum, to strips and squares which can be used to help protect toes, fingers, ears, spine and the nose. Clinical work has shown that the product can help stop the onset of pressure sores, while providing the healthcare professional with a simple and cost-effective device.
